RHS Campaign Concept

The UK’s biggest gardening charity wanted a rebrand. One that showed their light-hearted side, simplified their diverse offering and boosted their membership numbers. I was tasked with coming up with the creative idea which would form the basis of the creative brief for the campaign materials.
My idea? Imagine if plants could speak. What would they say and who would translate? The RHS, that’s who. I came up with the line ‘We Speak Plant’, which helped move the organisation away from high-brow, latin-name-wielding scholars to approachable, get-your-hands-dirty supporters of gardens and gardeners everywhere, and became the campaign line for the amazing campaign, created by Anders Wendel and Elliott Tiney, that followed.
